Grace and Frankie

Where to watch →“Sometimes you find friendship in the most unexpected of places”
Grace and Frankie has the kind of setup that could have been a punishing prestige drama: two women in their seventies discover their husbands have been in love with each other for twenty years.
The show is at its best when it lets the two of them simply exist in the same room. Fonda plays Grace as a tightly wound perfectionist slowly learning to loosen up; Tomlin plays Frankie as a chaotic hippie who is secretly the most emotionally stable person in the room. Their chemistry is so specific and funny that the rest of the ensemble sometimes has to sprint to keep up.
By the end it is less about the husbands and more about a friendship that caught both women off guard.
Comforting, sharp, and a little bit filthy.
